Education Match, Inc. does not provide any equipment or hardware to set up your home business. Following are the computer requirements you must have in order to contract with Education Match, Inc.:

• A personal computer with at least a 1 GHz processor.
• High Speed Internet Connection (DSL or Cable Modem) with a minimum of 3Mbps download speed and 0.5 Mbps upload speed. Faster speeds will yield better results.
• A minimum of 1 GB of RAM memory.
• Up-to-date web browser that supports Flash (FireFox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer).
• Java 2- Version 1.5 or higher.
• A minimum of one USB port (USB version 2).
• System configured to Microsoft's recommendations as outlined on their "Protect Your PC Web Site." These steps include:
• Windows Update enabled and configured to update automatically
• Windows standard firewall enabled on systems where it exists
• Anti-Virus software installed and configured to automatically update (refer to Microsoft's website for instructions on securing your system).
• Microsoft has effective anti-spyware software you can download for free: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/ software/default.mspx
• Operating system should be Window's Vista or newer.

Equipment & Service

• A monitor capable of displaying at least 1024 X 768 pixels.
• A sound card installed.
• Headset with working microphone and speakers.
• Voice-over IP phone services (e.g. Skype, Vonage), cellular phones, and satellite phones are not compatible with Education Match, Inc.'s system.
• Long distance service is not necessary.
